You may wonder, what's Kokoro? Kokoro is YOU. Your heart mind spirit as One. "Kokoro" comes from the Japanese language and means "heart (body) mind spirit" as completeness and oneness of who and what we are. It encompasses the very essence of our being combining all bodies mental, spiritual, emotional, and physical into the equation of human existence. We are here to support you in order to self heal all those bodies w-holistically. The research proves strong cognitive-affect-behaviour relations, which basically means that treating one aspect can significantly affect the other.
We are committed to providing the best treatment to match a person's needs. We believe that everyone is entitled to receive professional treatment from experienced clinical practitioners regardless of their religious belief, age, gender, sexual orientation, culture, social, economic circumstances, or geographical location.
We offer a wide range of individual, couple, and small group treatments, including counselling, hypnotherapy, psychology, psychotherapy, osteopathy, family support, muscular dystrophy consultancy, and complimentary therapies. We also refer to other practitioners such as "Creative Therapies" when we see that being the best fit for you or your child. Please feel free to check each practitioner's profile to explore their individual modalities, qualifications, and availability. Bookings are directly with health professionals.
Our aim is to help you build self-efficacy and resilience, to empower to self heal, and to offer the tools to achieve that.
We are located on the traditional lands of the Kaurna people; very conveniently near the airport, half way between Adelaide CBD and the Grange beach. The magic of it all. The bus stop #19 is also just next to our clinic. There is plenty of car park behind the clinic when you arrive and we have a wonderful chill out waiting area with an extensive libray. We invite you to arrive in early to relax in the waiting area before you head to your appointment.
Kokoro Healing Collective and its community acknowledge and pays respect to the Kaurna people as traditional custodians of the Adelaide region. We acknowledge the deep feelings of attachment and the relationship of the Kaurna people to their Place. We pay our respects to the Kaurna ancestors and the living Kaurna people. We also pay respect to the cultural authority of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples visiting / attending our clinic from other areas of Australia.
